GROUP EXERCISE

CHOOSE YOUR CLASS

* Must be 14 years old or older to participate. 12 & 13 year olds must have an orientation.

Classes are held on a first-come, first-served basis. Instructors are subject to change. Classes are subject to change and/or cancellations. Please speak to the instructor about class capacity in the event that the room appears full. Classes are open to those 14 and older unless otherwise noted. Youth Ballet: Children must be 6 years or older to attend. Zumba Kids: Please check with instructor for age restrictions. Please sign the class participation log for each class. We will offer orientation to new members for the equipment in our fitness area on Mondays: 5:45 - 6:45pm, Thursday from 10:00 - 11:00am., Saturdays from 11:00am - 12:00pm. Reservations are preferred. Please show up on time as sessions are approximately 1 hour.



 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

*ADVANCED CARDIO:

On select Saturday mornings our instructors will present an advanced cardio class involved high intensity interval training, cycling, sprints, strength training and more to provide members with a max calorie burn! Please pay attention to the schedule, and Facebook for regular updates on this class.

AMP IT UP!: 

Is a fun, high energy cardio class that utilizes hip hop dance moves.  Some classes will focus on toning, some classes will use a chair to exercise with, and some classes will just be dance fitness moves.  Modifications to any routine are always encouraged.

BURN FITNESS: 

A high intensity dance fitness class with added emphasis on muscle sculpting movements. High energy music and choreography make it fun, while alternate moves at different levels allow you to customize your workout to your ability.

CARDIO MIX:

A cardio dance class that is choreographed to fun radio music/remixes.  It is a great MIX of dance, tae bo/kickboxing and conditioning moves for a full body, cardio workout.

CHAIR YOGA: 

Stretching, flexing, and balancing in this class designed for ALL participants; focusing on poses and postures to improve joint range of motion, muscular strength, and endurance.  Static and dynamic movements are presented with a chair for seated and standing support.

*CYCLE & CORE: 

An effective cross training class involving up tempo cardio and resistance at your control.  This class will spend the first 45 minutes on hard core cycling, and then complete the workout with 15 minutes of developing hard core abs!  Perfect for everyone from beginner to pro!

*H.I.I.T. Fit: 

This full-body high intensity interval training (HIIT) workout combines challenging cardio bursts with specific weight training exercises. Kettle bells, hand weights, medicine balls and more are used in this calorie-burning, strengthening class. Participants will enjoy getting stronger, faster and more defined in a competitive group environment.

*POWER CYCLE:

This class, presented to those interested in a real challenge, combines endurance cycling with strength training exercises. The use of barbells, jump ropes, and hand weights provide a maximum muscle-tonight, fat-burning experience.

*POWER PUMP:  

A class of endurance, strength, and toning.  This class teaches proper lifting techniques using barbells and free weights.  Designed to firm, tone, strengthen, and define all muscle groups.  High repetitions make this a great “fat burner!”

SILVER CIRCUIT: 

For fit and active adults who desire added cardiovascular training, featuring low-impact standing choreography alternated with safe, fun and effective exercises for upper-body strength work.  A chair is used for standing support and head-to-toe stretching.

SILVER CLASSIC: 

A total body conditioning class offering exercises for the upper and lower body designed to increase muscular strength and range of movement.  Resistance tools and a chair for seated and standing support are used, to increase the effectiveness of functional skills and abilities needed for independent living.

For ages 3-7 years old, this class focuses on stretching and the basics of tumbling including balance, trampoline, pointing and fun!

Join this class designed to help de-stress, stretch, strengthen, and tone all over.  Please bring your own mat, or we do have some yoga mats at the Y for you to try it out!

This combination of cardio, strength, and free dance gives youth members ages 4-12 the opportunity to rock it out with high-energy moves and fun with our trained Jazzercise instructor.
